Rage against the machine es una banda de Los Angeles, California. La música que hacen es una mezcla de rock y hip-hop con ciertos toques punk. Pero tan importante como su música es el mensaje que intentan comunicar. Están involucrados en bastantes causas sociales y políticas, y así lo expresan en las letras de las canciones. La ira que los cuatro miembros del grupo puede llegar a enfrentarlos hasta tal punto que han estado muy cerca de disolverse. Una vez, justo después de acabar "Evil Empire". Y antes de eso, en 1994, se separaron. Lógicamente, ahora volvieron a unirse... y ya han conseguido sacar su tercer y último disco. Con un poco de suerte tendremos el cuarto antes del 2010.
